About

Based in Germany, HollowTone was born from a simple idea: the world's most powerful sounds are the ones that have always been there. A creek finding its way through ancient stones. Wind moving through a canopy of leaves. Rain arriving across an open meadow.

We travel from the Black Forest to the Bavarian Alps — and wherever nature calls — to capture these moments in the highest audio fidelity. Every recording is a real place, a real moment, preserved exactly as it happened.

What We Carry

Every recording begins the same way: a tripod pressed into soft ground, two devices started, one clap to sync them. Then hours of standing still while the forest forgets you are there.
